Hello Families!
Welcome to 2026! We hope our families enjoyed a restful Winter Break. We are so excited to welcome our Sharks back to school!
This January, students will be exploring the topic of bread through hands-on learning and classroom discussions. They will investigate different kinds of bread found at school and at home, describe their shapes and colors, and learn new vocabulary such as loaf, bake, knead, and bakery.
Students will also learn about the role of bakers and practice early math and language skills through activities like counting bread slices and answering daily Questions of the Day, including sharing their favorite types of bread.
We’re excited for a fun and engaging month of learning and encourage families to continue these conversations at home!

About Our School
Welcome to Spaulding Early Childhood Center!
At Spaulding School we offer preschool educational services for children ages 3-5. We also provide services to children ages 0-3 and their families through our Best Start program. Here at Spaulding, we believe in fostering an early love for learning through play and developmentally appropriate hands on activities. We support all areas of children’s development including academic, cognitive, communication, motor and social skills.
We believe that building strong parent/family relationships help to increase a child’s success in school. At Spaulding we host many parent/family activities in addition to providing parent universities on relevant parenting topics.
